This year’s guest of the Festival will be well-known Serbian actor, director and producer Lazar Ristovski, and his film “King Peter I”, which is a Serbian Oscar nominee, will have its first screening in Turkey. After the screening, Ristovski will speak with the audience together with festival founder and director Sali Saliji.

Visitors will have the opportunity to watch 25 feature and 10 short films, including the premiere of the Turkish film Chaos, with director Semir Aslanyurek and Macedonian film Medena Nok, with producer Robert Jazadzki. The films will be screened at the Tarık Akan Youth Center organized by Dokuz Eilul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design.

On the occasion of the premiere, film director Paolo Zucca and lead actor Jacopo Cullin arrived in Belgrade. At a press conference that preceded the premiere, they addressed the press, along with Paola Cordone, director of the Italian Cultural Center and host and one of the main actors, Lazar Ristovski.

“I would first like to thank the Italian Cultural Center for supporting us to bring Paolo and Jacopo as guests at the film’s premiere. Distributing films that carry the artistic line is always difficult and we, as Zillion, have ventured to buy this film for distribution. I hope the audience will love and watch this movie, ” Ristovski said at a press conference and expressed special thanks to Marko Ckonjevic and FAME Solutions as distributor for Serbia.

Director Paolo Zuka has also written a screenplay for his film, and the movie is based in his native Sardinia and follows a local fisherman, played by Lazar Ristovski, who has promised a woman he loves to give her the moon. And, the Sardinians are known to always keep their promise.

Lazar Ristovski is the founder of the festival, whose main organizer is the production company Zillion film. Ravno Selo Film Festival is a festival of debut, student film and film music, aimed primarily at young people in the area. Through its activities, the festival seeks to bring film, as well as filmmakers, closer to them, thus encouraging them to study and create, but also to enrich their viewing experience, and therefore artistic development.

In addition to the municipal leadership, representatives of institutions, organizations, public companies, provincial authorities and national councils, the session was attended by representatives of municipalities and cities of Serbia, as well as fraternal and partner cities from Montenegro, Croatia and Hungary, reports the willow municipal website.

Attendees were greeted by the Mayor of the Municipality of Vrbas, who congratulated the holiday on the inhabitants of all populated places, and then the Mayor took the floor, using the opportunity to introduce the guests to the results and plans for the future.

The Lazar Ristovski Award was given by Milan Glusac.

The feature film “King Peter I”, the directorial debut of Petar Ristovski, participated in the Sopot Film Festival, held from July 2 to July 6, which was produced by CEBEf, with the assistance of host CZK Sopot. At this 48th Festival in a row, the PUBLIC AWARD went into the hands of King Peter I. The award was presented by a jury of Sopot citizens: Danijela Velikinac, Goran Krco, and Marija Rajšić.

This award was preceded by a film script festival in Vrnjacka Banja, at which the film “King Peter I” received a special award.

At the 54th Film Meetings in Niš, Radovan Vujovic won the award for Best Male Episodic Role, and Milan Kolak for the role of Marinko Spasojevic received the Award. Film meetings in Nis ran from August 25 to August 30. During the second festival evening, after the screening of the film King Peter I, the audience of Niš was presented with the protagonists of the film, accompanied by numerous ovations and applause. Actor Lazar Ristovski thanked for the beautiful reception and wonderful applause and added: “This is the 40th year that I am coming to this festival. Thank you for all those years for being the most wonderful audience in the world! ”

The film successfully made its way to cinemas in the South Korean market and was screened at the Chicester International Film Festival, which took place from 8 to 25 August in the UK. Over the years, Zillion film has produced several films as a producer or co-producer, and according to the number of films produced and the frequent performances of our films at the most famous foreign festivals, Zillion film production is one of the most successful film production companies in Serbia.
