As the southerly winds shake Split, the lives of the residents of a dilapidated four- story building begin to intertwine. A suspended professor, a paranoid old woman, a manipulative religious mother, a failed rapper, and a violent ex-boyfriend collide in a dark comedy of misunderstandings, petty intrigues, and growing chaos where even the "heroes" are villains in the eyes of their neighbors.

FESTIVALS AND AWARDS
The 72nd Pula Film Festival, starting on July 10, 2025, will open with the world premiere of the film “South Wind,” directed by Ante Marin.
The film “South Wind” won the main award for Best Film – the “Grand Prix Unska Sirena” – at the 7th International Adventure Film Festival “Avant & Una”.
Director
Ante Marin is a Croatian screenwriter and director. He is one of the founders,teaching coordinator and lecturer at the Screenwriting School "Palunko" of theCroatian Film Association. He is a member of the film incubator Blank, theCinema Club Split and the Union of Screenwriters and Writers of PerformingWorks. After a series of short films, he made his debut as a screenwriter anddirector of “South Wind”. He is the recipient of the Social Innovation Award of theNational Foundation for the Development of Civil Society and various specialawards for volunteer contributions.
