CO-PRODUCTION

Since its founding, Zillion film has made film co-productions with France, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro. The incentive to co-finance the production of minority co-productions comes from the Film Center Serbia through the announcement of an Open Competition for financing and co-financing cinema projects. At the same time, in order to increase employment and promote the potential of the Republic of Serbia in terms of audiovisual activities, co-production is supported by the Decree on Incentivising Investments in Production of Audiovisual Works to the investors to produce an audiovisual work in the Republic of Serbia. Through this Decree, non-refundable grants are given to the investors by offering 25% of a direct cash rebate of the eligible expenses realised in our country. In addition, Serbia is part of the Creative Europe program within the European Commission support for the Audiovisual sector and cultural sector; its sub-program Media encourages the development of the European audiovisual and multimedia sector, providing support, inter alia, in the field of development, distribution and promotion of European feature films and documentaries; television series; new media content and training of film professionals. As part of the production services, Zillion film is able to prepare all the necessary documentation for applying for the mentioned programs, but also to help all producers interested in cooperation in a creative way.
