The first session of the Seventh Ravno Selo Film Festival

Recently, the first session was held where preparations for the upcoming 7th Ravno Selo Film Festival began.

The session was attended by the founder of the festival, Lazar Ristovski, together with his sons Peter Ristovski, director of the festival, Jovan Ristovski, producer of the festival, artistic director Marko Čkonjević, and selector Dragan Jeličić.

The session discussed various aspects of the festival, including program content and marketing strategies. One of the key topics of discussion was the idea of making this year’s festival even more accessible and attractive to a wider audience, both local and international.

After seven years, a new House of Culture was built on the site of the burned one, and now the festival will operate in much better conditions and will be able to offer a more extensive and high-quality film program in all categories.

The invitation is published for:

  1. Authors of the debut (1st ) and sophomore (2nd) feature films. Minimum length 70 minutes.
  2. “Short 100 minutes” selection. Debut (1st ) and sophomore (2nd) short documentary or short feature film up to 20 minutes long.
  3. Short films from official film schools from all over the world are eligible to apply. Length of films up to 15 minutes.

 

The competition is open until May 1, 2024.
