Svetozar Miletić was a distinguished lawyer, a member of the Hungarian parliament, and a lifelong fighter for the rights and independence of Serbs in the Austro-Hungarian Vojvodina. After being politically convicted multiple times, his struggle continued through his daughter, Milica Miletić, the first female journalist in Serbia, and Jaša Tomić, Miletić’s successor in the Serbian People’s Liberal Party, who would declare the annexation of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia in 1918. This is their story and their fight.
