FILM “THE NAME OF THE PEOPLE” ALREADY PIRATED!
The film “The Name of the People,” directed by Darko Bajić, which premiered in cinemas on November 12, has already been illegally uploaded on the website www.crnaberza.com. The film’s producer, Lazar Ristovski, has made a public appeal through Kurir to the general public and the Ministry of Internal Affairs—Department for Combating High-Tech Crime—to prevent further illegal distribution.
“The Name of the People” holds historical significance for our country. We invested around one million euros in it together with the state. It is shameful that someone who had access to the film misused their position, causing great damage to the authors, producers, and everyone who dedicated years of effort to its creation,” says Ristovski for Kurir, emphasizing that, despite filing a criminal complaint, they have yet to receive any response or information.
