Film “King Petar The First” Premieres on HBO GO

Two years after the release of the film “King Petar The First,” directed by Petar Ristovski, its demand remains high. Following our collaboration with the global distributor “House of Film,” the first film they wanted to acquire broadcasting rights for was precisely “King Petar I.” As a result, the film is now available on the HBO GO platform, with plans for distribution on other similar platforms.

As Serbia’s official candidate for the 92nd Academy Awards (Oscars), the film gained an opportunity to be seen worldwide, and now it is evident that this opportunity has been well utilized. This is yet another proof that the film has an international trajectory and that the story of Serbian heroism and sacrifice in the Great War is recognized both among film professionals and international audiences. Zillion Film has once again produced a high-quality film, and the investment in the project has been justified by the interest from distributors worldwide.
