THE SILK ROAD

Zillion film has recently signed a protocol on cooperation with the Chinese company Silk Road TV.

Miss Yujia Zhang has been our guest at the Film Festival “Ravno selo” and the touching moment was when she addressed the viewers who filled the summer stage of the burned Cultural Center in Serbian language. This move took all the sympathies of the auditorium.

Miss Yujia Zhang also showed great interest in Serbian film and culture and, in a short time, gained insight into both, especially into the area of film.

We hope and look forward to successful cooperation and co-production on some of our future projects. Chinese company Silk Road TV is very great and significant

What is interesting is that the entire project of our cooperation will have a working title “The silk road”. Finding a metaphor in this title will help in an idea of linking the tradition and breakthrough of the Chinese culture and economy of the past times with the current desires and intentions for the cooperation of our two countries, China and Serbia, in those two fields.

Zillion film is one of the most successful production companies in Serbia and our films have visited some of the biggest world festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, San Sebastian, etc.

We aspire to make a great teamwork with our (let us be free to tell) friends from China and to manage to present all of our future projects, both film and series, to the world. “The silk road” came to life again, metaphorically and literally, and using this road we will now be exporting the culture, in both directions.

We have to admit that, in some way, we feel honored because of the fact that such a great company as Silk Road TV have chosen the Zillion film for cooperation. We look on this cooperation with the strong belief that the protocol we signed is not just a word on a paper, but the way more important personal contact and friendly understanding that we managed to establish with the help of Miss Yujia Zhang.

In the near future, we want our wishes to be realized and, on mutual satisfaction, some of the offered projects, as well.

Lazar Ristovski, the owner of the company Zillion film, is very excited and happy because of this cooperation and is eagerly waiting for the answers from Chinese friends, regarding the projects that have been designated as possible for their future cooperation.
